Assistant Librarian: Empower Student Learning

Coast and Vale Learning Trust is seeking an Assistant Librarian for St Albans School, starting September 2026. The role offers an annual salary of £30,000 - £35,000 and includes a generous pension scheme and healthcare benefits.

The Assistant Librarian will support the Library's daily operations and assist pupils in their learning. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, a passion for reading, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Previous library experience is desirable but not essential.

Weekly hours are 37.5, Monday to Friday during term time plus two weeks in the holidays. The School is committed to safeguarding; suitable candidates will undergo necessary checks.
