Assistant Librarian (Part Time, Job Share)

The Godolphin and Latymer School is a leading independent day school for girls in Hammersmith, London. The position offers an opportunity to work in a modern library environment with around 21,000 physical books and additional digital resources.

Job Summary

Assist the Librarian and support library operations on a job share, part time basis during term time from September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a suitable learning environment for students.
• Respond to queries from students and staff.
• Assist in library lessons.
• Catalogue, identify, and make available additional resources.
• Supervise the library during designated times.

Qualifications

• Suitable qualifications and experience for an assistant librarian role.

Working Hours

Monday Thursday 2:30 pm 7:00 pm and Friday 2:30 pm 6:00 pm during term time.

Salary

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
