About the role

Pay Details: Grade 4, SCP 6-7 £26,847 - £27,274 Pro Rata

Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 5 Days - 30 hrs per week, term time only

Main Place of Work: Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg

Temporary Reason: Covering long term sickness

Description

The Big Fresh Catering Company is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager. Number of meals served on site: approximately 1000 daily

Applicants will be responsible for the daily running of the kitchen in the absence of the Kitchen Manager and should preferably have experience of large scale catering.

About you You will need:

• Ability to supervise staff to achieve the service objectives
• Ability to plan and organise the kitchen to its full potential
• Be able to use their own initiative in the day to day running of the kitchen
• At least 2 years practical cooking experience in a busy catering environment within the last 3 years.
• Firm commitment to providing a quality catering service.
