Following a period of significant strategicdevelopment and growth, we are seeking an exceptional leader to join our SeniorLeadership Team as Assistant Headteacher - Achievement.
This is a pivotal leadership role in a schoolwith a clear improvement trajectory and growing student numbers. It offers theopportunity to shape whole-school culture and deliver measurable impact.

The Assistant Headteacher for Achievement willplay a central role in ensuring that this ambition translates into measurableimpact across all year groups and pupil groups.
About the RoleWorking alongside the Deputy Headteacher youwill lead the strategic development and operational implementation ofachievement across the academy, ensuring:
- Strong and sustained academic outcomes at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage4.
- High expectations and challenge for all learners.
- Effective assessment systems that inform teaching and accelerateprogress.
- Closing of gaps between pupil groups through high-quality teachingand targeted support.
- Clear accountability structures that empower middle leaders.
- Raising standards strategies that are precise, coherent andimpactful.
This role is about securing excellence, notthrough pressure, but through clarity, consistency and collective efficacy.

- Builds strong relationships with middle leaders and supports theirdevelopment.
- Holds high expectations for all learners, particularlydisadvantaged and SEND pupils.
- Is aligned with a values-driven, community-centred ethos.
Experience of leading raising standardsstrategies at whole-school or faculty level is essential. NPQSL or equitablequalifications is desirable but not essential.
