Assistant Head Teacher - SENCo - Willow View School

You will lead SEN and inclusive education through the roles of SENCo for looked-after pupils in our school. You will also support teachers and HLTAs by adapting learning to our pupils' needs.
Willow View School works with children with social, emotional, and emerging mental health needs. The school is based in Rochdale, providing a safe and nurturing environment for anxious, vulnerable pupils unable to sustain a mainstream placement.

Our educational offer balances academic studies, physical and outdoor education, vocational studies, and personal development programmes. Where the children are taught in small groups or on a one-to-one basis. Bespoke learning based on personal interests and community issues engages pupils - helping extend their concentration and success.

Our education service is committed to providing warm and consistent environments where pupils develop Positive behaviour. Whether an in-house facility or our outreach service in the community, all our education services provide the same level of individual planning and learning for each child.

As part of our leadership team, you will join a developing and improving establishment during an exciting transition and growth period. You will receive Proactive Approaches and techniques training and be committed to and supported in your professional development aspirations.

A valid Driving Licence - this is essential for this role and you must have the Right to Work in the UK

Hours
37.5 hours per week
Monday - Friday 08:30 am - 16:30pm
