About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Head Sommelier to join our vibrant team at ROKA Aldwych. As a key member of our front of house team, you will embody our passion for exceptional hospitality, ensuring every guest enjoys a warm, memorable welcome from the moment they arrive.

This is a solo department role, running the day to day operation, including deliveries, stocktake, and ordering.

You'll embody our values and bring:

• A genuine love for hospitality, with a passion for Japanese cuisine and exceptional dining experiences
• Proven experience as a Senior Sommelier ready for the next step or an Assistant Head Sommelier in a premium, high volume restaurant environment
• WSET Level 1 or 2 (desired), but will consider applicants with the willingness to learn develop
• Stocktake and ordering knowledge
• A collaborative spirit, thriving as part of a large and dynamic team
• A warm, customer focused approach, with the ability to create memorable moments for every guest
