Assistant Head of Community and Membership Fundraising - Community and Events

Prospectus is working with our client to recruit an Assistant Head of Community and Membership Fundraising Community and Events. The organisation has a trusted presence in communities across the country, offering practical and emotional support to some of the most vulnerable people in society. Their mission is to offer hope, dignity, and opportunity for all.

A newly created position, the Assistant Head of Community and Membership Fundraising Community and Events is a critical hire that will ensure the organisation maintains and increases its impactful presence across the UK, driving the strategic development and delivery of a national community fundraising programme. This will include fundraising appeals that grow income from individuals and organisations and you will be responsible for expanding and innovating the community events portfolio, ensuring a diversified supporter base and deeper, long-term engagement with supporters. The Assistant Head will manage a team of three, will be responsible for an annual income target of £500k, and work as a senior fundraiser for the organisation externally and internally.

To succeed, you will bring proven experience in community and events fundraising, ideally within a large and complex organisation and will have an outstanding track record in community-based fundraising. You will enjoy and have experience of influencing at a senior level and will have experience in strategic planning, management and implementation of community fundraising and events.
