About the role

As Assistant Group Controller at Rheem Europe, you'll be at the heart of our finance organization. You'll support monthly and quarterly closings, assist in the consolidation of our European entities, and contribute to the further professionalization of our financial processes. You'll work closely with colleagues across Europe and have the opportunity to grow within a fast-developing, international, and sustainability-driven company. You'll be part of a team that's evolving rapidly, driven by acquisitions and the construction of a new factory in Slovakia.

Your role is key in ensuring reliable reporting and improving internal processes. What you'll do:

  • Support monthly and quarterly closings for multiple legal entities across Europe.
  • Assist in the group consolidation process and preparation of internal and external reports.
  • Contribute to the consolidated annual report and liaise with external auditors.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and reporting in MS Dynamics 365.
  • Support the integration of newly acquired companies and help improve internal control processes.


Who are we looking for?

As a person you are social, analytical, meticulous and proactive. You like to work independently but also approach colleagues for their input. You enjoy keeping your professional knowledge up to date and apply professional standards. You get energy from contributing to improvement initiatives to prepare the organization for further growth and like to create structure.

  • Master's degree (or in progress) in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in finance or accountancy.
  • Knowledge of Dutch GAAP; US GAAP is a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Available for 32 to 40 hours per week.
