Job Summary:

We are seeking an Assistant Front of House Manager to join our team in the Tidewater Marina. Fish & Slips is a local's favorite in Portsmouth. We aim to provide excellent service matched by the quality of our food .

The assistant manager must abide company policy and uphold the standard of service, while being a leader to the staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in opening or closing of restaurant
• Address customer and employee concerns
• Uphold safety standards
• Provide direction & motivation to staff
• Assist the Front of House Manager with daily tasks
• Ensure that all staff members are following company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
