Location: Dereham

Salary: £33,300 per annum

Hours: 44 hours per week including weekend work

The Role

Reporting to the Farm Manager, you will support the daily running of the farm, ensuring production protocols are strictly followed.

• Bird Welfare: Maintain optimum environmental conditions (ventilation, lighting, litter).
• Operations: Conduct health inspections, manage feed/water intake, and oversee site maintenance.
• Compliance: Enforce rigorous biosecurity and health & safety standards.
• Reporting: Accurately log production data and resolve any anomalies.
• Support: Assist with bird placement/depletion and cover the weekend/alarm rota.

About You

• Experience: Proven background in poultry farming.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently.
• Requirements: Full UK driving licence and reliable transport (rural location).
• Flexibility: Prepared for a varied schedule, including early starts and weekend commitments.
