About MiChild at Teddies Day Nursery

Teddies Day Nursery, proudly rated "Good" by Ofsted, has a capacity of 56 children and has been part of the MiChild family since March 2020. Nestled within the Royal Oldham Hospital grounds, we serve both NHS and local families with dedication and warmth. Our nursery boasts four spacious, light filled playrooms and a large enclosed outdoor area that inspires imaginative exploration, independence, and safe risk taking. We champion the belief that there's no such thing as bad weather-only unsuitable clothing!

What We're Looking For

• Ideally hold a full and relevant Level 2 Early Years Qualification or a Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised)
• Have a strong understanding of the EYFS and child development; play a vital part in nurturing and inspiring little minds
• Demonstrate robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness
• Confident communicator, proactive in approach and passionate about providing outstanding care and support to children
• Support the team with a range of day to day tasks, be adaptable to the changing needs of the nursery day
• Uphold our curriculum and our early years principles
• Able to commit to daily (Monday to Friday) lunch cover from 11.00am to 2.30pm - all year round

If you're not yet Level 2 Early Years or Level 3 Early Years qualified, we may have alternative roles to support your development.
