RecruitNet International is inviting applications for the role of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to a Nursing Homes in Co Kilkenny.A compassionate ADON that can ensure the delivery of the highest standards of nursing care while leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Help with the day-to-day operations and general administration of clinical services
  
• Assist the nursing and care team with leadership, direction, and mentoring while making ensuring that internal policies and HIQA regulations are followed.
  
• Participate in performance management, hiring, and strategy planning.
  
• Create a welcoming and cooperative work atmosphere and serve as a vital liaison between residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  
• Oversee or assist with quality assurance and internal auditing projects.
  

Requirements

• NMBI General Division Registered Nurse
  
• Experience in a nursing home or other setting that provides care for elderly people is highly preferred. A minimum of five years of nursing experience is required, with at least two of those years spent in a leadership or management role.
  
• Excellent clinical expertise and demonstrated leadership abilities
  
• Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
