Job Description

Dynisma is revolutionising the automotive and motorsport driving simulator market with its disruptive Motion Generator technology. Our cutting-edge approach to simulator design delivers more data about vehicle dynamics and ride to drivers and passengers with less latency and more accurately than any other motion simulators available.

About the team

We are a team of engineers experienced both in the design and manufacture of driving simulators, as well as their use in vehicle development. We develop, deliver and support outstanding, ground-breaking simulators and motion generators that support the engineering that leads to winning performance on the track.

About the role

As an Assistant Customer Success Manager, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring they receive exceptional support and service. You will use your technical knowledge and customer relationship skills to resolve issues, identify opportunities for added value, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our customer success strategies. This role is ideal for someone with a background in automotive or automation industries who enjoys problem-solving, working cross-functionally, and building long-term client partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a strong background in automotive or automation to understand the unique challenges and requirements of our clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Possess a solid technical background with a good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Provide technical support to clients as the first point of contact, addressing inquiries and concerns effectively, and liaising with the appropriate Dynisma teams for resolution.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness by contributing to proposal generation and providing insights into client needs.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling of products and services.
  • Develop an understanding of market trends and competitor activities.
  • Showcase proficiency in IT, including the ability to help set up new systems, review data, and utilise technology to enhance customer success initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Efficiently plan and manage time to meet customer needs and organisational goals.
  • Prioritise tasks and initiatives to maximise efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development and management of health monitoring data and component/assembly lifeing.
  • Share responsibility for stock level management of spares inventory and consumables for maintenance contracts.
  • Assist with logistics and travel arrangements for maintenance and support operations where required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field would be beneficial but is not a requirement.
  • Proven experience in a customer support or related role within the automotive or automation industry.
  • Good technical knowledge with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to contribute to proposal generation and identify opportunities for product or service sales.
  • IT competence, including familiarity with relevant software and systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing time effectively and prioritising tasks.
  • Understanding of motorsports and production downtime issues is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the configuration and management of ticketing systems, e.g. Freshservice, would be advantageous.
  • Ability to set priorities and deliver on KPIs.
