Assistant Branch Manager

Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) , specialists in providing solutions and building materials for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities , is on the hunt for an Assistant Branch Manager who's as passionate about great service as we are.We provide a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment with ample opportunities for career growth, along with a competitive salary, staff discount, life assurance, and 3 3 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)Hours - 7. 30 - 5.00 Monday to FridayKey ResponsibilitiesAct as first line support to the Branch Manager to lead and support the team to deliver successProvide an excellent customer experience, maintaining strong effective relationships with both local customers and suppliersProcess customer orders both over the phone and in personDeliver a wide variety of products to our customers using a 3.5t Transit Van when neededPick items to fulfil customer orders ready for collection or deliveryCheck incoming stock deliveries and put away in appropriate areaGetting to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactionsDevelop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone)Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock countsMake Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at workWhat's in it for you?Retirement Savings Plan (Pension) - with Legal & GeneralLife Assurance - From your first day of employment with us you are automatically covered for a lump-sum death in service benefit of 2 x your basic salary.
