Job Description
Assistant Accountant, County Armagh, 35k, Perm Managing all transactions within the finance department Ensure all weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly procedures are carried out effectively and efficiently Maintenance of both sales and purchase ledger Assist with Payroll processing Responsible for collation, posting and reconciliation of month-end stocks Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and follow-up issues VAT submissions, Intrastat, TSS compliance and Other Government returns Assist with Cashflow Management Assisting with the maintaining of the cost system on Sage Monitor Financial Controls and implement changes where necessary Work with external auditors at year-end Support Finance Manager, General Manager and wider Management team in relation to accounts and reports they may need Support accounts team and assist with ad hoc duties as required What you'll need to succeed
Ability to work under pressure Organised, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy Confident to work independently as well as part of a team Outstanding communication skills Enthusiastic and self-motivated
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years experience Experience in Microsoft Office Sage Line 200 experience desirable
