Job Description
Overview

The Asset Manager will be responsible for owning and maturing Creative ITC's asset and configuration management capability across our global managed services portfolio. This role enables accurate, automated, and operationally valuable configuration management across infrastructure, cloud, endpoint, and application estates.

The Asset Manager will lead the design, population, and continuous accuracy of the CMDB (Configuration Management Database), ensuring it becomes a dependable, automated source of truth that underpins service delivery, security posture, operational governance, problem management, change enablement, and customer reporting.

Working within the Service Operations function, the Asset Manager will shape the asset discovery strategy, drive mapping of relationships and dependencies, and work alongside technical SMEs, PMO, tooling administrators, and engineering teams across Patch, CB&I, Nutanix, SUPaaS, SECaaS and MaaS.

This role is instrumental in enabling Creative ITC's strategic shift toward a modern PSA/ITSM platform (Halo PSA or equivalent) and will directly support the onboarding, architecture and ongoing optimisation of automated discovery tooling such as Lansweeper.

Education and Experience

Mandatory

  • Proven experience in developing, owning, and maintaining CMDBs within MSP or multi tenant ITSM environments.
  • Hands on experience with asset discovery tools such as enterprise ITSM/PSA tools.
  • Demonstrable experience mapping infrastructure, network, application and service dependencies.
  • Deep understanding of ITIL v4, specifically Configuration Management, Incident, Change and Problem processes.
  • Experience integrating CMDBs with PSA, RMM and monitoring tools.

Preferred

  • Experience administering or working deeply within Halo PSA and Lansweeper.
  • Familiarity with cloud, virtualisation, networking and security technologies.
  • Relevant certifications (ITIL, CMDB Specialist, Halo certifications, or equivalent).
