About the Role

This role represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join our asset finance team in Dublin and make a significant contribution to our growing practice.

The team advises private equity investors, operating lessors, financial institutions , export credit agencies and airlines on a wide range of asset finance structures . These include asset backed securitisations , aviation platform establishment, warehouse financings, po r tfolio asset sales and purchases , operating and finance lease structures as we ll as export credit agency facilities.

The successful candidate will have exposure to high quality matters and will work as part of, and be sup ported by, a highly successful and collegiate team.

The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Advising clients on Irish legal aspects across a broad range of asset finance matters
  • Responsible for managing transactions end-to-e nd efficiently and effectively
  • Working with a client base comprising of domestic and international clients, including top-tier l essors, private equity institutions, airlines and financiers
  • Review of transaction documentation from an Irish law perspective across a wide range of structures and jurisdictions;
  • Preparation and negotiation of Irish security documentation (share charge, account charge, mortgage)
  • Engaging in business development activities, being active in the promotion of the firm and seeking opportunities for new work and cross-selling
  • Working as part of a team, including supervising junior lawyers' work and taking an active part in sharing knowledge and experience within the team
EXPERIENCE What You Bring

The successful candidate will have outstanding technical skills, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well within a team environment.

The successful individual's qualifications and experience will include:
  • Experience gained within a top-tier law firm in Irelan d, the U.K., or internationally
  • A strong academic background, with excellent written com munication and drafting skills
  • 3 - 5 years' relevant p ost qualification experience within asset finance, banking and/or structured finance in a private practice law firm or an in-house f irm

This post requires significant attention to detail, professionalism, ability to multi-task, and excellent organisational , prioritisation and communications skills. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to adhere to internal policies and procedures.
