Job Description

You'll be right at the heart of our compliance team, making sure we deliver top-notch asset compliance services. From gas safety and electrical testing to fire risk assessments, water, lifts, asbestos, solar and renewable energy - you'll help us stay ahead of the game and in line with the latest legislation, health & safety standards, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for providing a comprehensive administration service to the team
  • Ensure consistent and accurate information, documents and letters are available and in use
  • Help develop, implement and monitor administrative processes to support efficient and quality service delivery
  • Review management information to identify gaps within data and correct as necessary
  • Undertake general office duties as required, e.g. managing post, mail merges booking meetings, etc
  • Produce minutes from meetings
  • Maintain records and produce regular statistical information and management reports
  • Raise purchase/works orders promptly and accurately to enable works to be carried out and budgets to be monitored
  • Working alongside the team within the Asset Compliance team to resolve customer enquiries at the first point of contact across all channels
  • Responsible for proactive outbound communication campaigns identified - in accordance with the resident engagement strategy
  • Responsible for liaison with colleagues across Octavia to resolve customer enquiries
  • Identify support needs of customers and work with the Customer Housing Leads Officers or the Housing Solutions Support
Requirements

For this position, we have listed the requirements we believe are essential for this role:

Experience

  • Experience of working to deadlines and targets
  • Ability to raise purchase/works orders promptly and accurately to enable works to be carried out and budgets to be monitored
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft word and Excel
  • Experience of building and maintaining relationships with contractors, tenants and staff across different functions
  • Ability to produce minutes from meetings

Knowledge

  • Have a good understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Social Housing and Social Care
  • Knowledge of managing data and producing reports

Skills

  • Ability to organise workload effectively and able to methodically work on own initiative
  • Interpersonal skills to liaise with residents and provide responses to complaints
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Be highly organised, methodical and analytical with exceptional attention to detail

The salary for this role £123.44 per day.
