Job Title: Manager, Assessment Materials
Salary: £35,200 - £45,700
Location: Cambridge/Coventry/Gateshead with hybrid working
Contract: Permanent/Full time
We are looking for a proactive and organised manager to lead the production of high-quality assessment materials that support learners and teachers across the UK.

About the roleAs an Assessment Materials Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and accurate production of assessment materials for Cambridge OCR qualifications. Leading a team of up to six administrators, you'll oversee the end-to-end process, from planning and scheduling to quality checks and delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and standards maintained.
Your responsibilities will include:
- managing the assessment materials production process and reporting on progress.
- leading and developing your team, providing coaching and support to help them succeed.
- collaborating with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and keep materials on track.
- driving continuous improvement and innovation in processes and systems.
- acting as a subject matter expert and supporting change initiatives.
You're an experienced people manager with a proactive, can-do attitude and a passion for delivering high-quality results. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while supporting your team to succeed. You'll bring strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential, and experience with assessment material production processes or CCMS would be an advantage.
