Assembly Fitter - Terex, Campsie Industrial Estate, Derry, Northern Ireland

Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting career as an Assembly Fitter. You will join the assembly line fitting team using power and manual tools and follow technical engineering drawings while working to meet production targets. You will be constantly aware of health and safety controls and work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assembly line fitting
• Use of power and manual tooling
• Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
• Meeting set targets while working on the production line
• Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts

Required Experience

• Working to strict health and safety procedures
• Ability to install hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and related components according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Use of power and manual tools

Desirable Skills

• Keen approach to problem solving
• Good mechanical skills

Preferred Background

• Experience working in a similar manufacturing environment
