Are you passionate about demonstrating the value of education to vulnerable children?
A specialist built school based in Chichester is looking for a dedicated graduate wanting to gain experience as an Aspiring Social Worker/SEN Learning Support Assistant (SEN LSA). You will support students with special educational needs (SEN), and a range of associated social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH) and traumas.
This Aspiring Social Worker/SEN LSA role is ideal for a Psychology, Sociology and Criminology graduates. You will gain excellent practical experience with SEN/SEMH pupils in a relevant field, before you take your next step. The role will give you experience working with vulnerable pupils, increasing their engagement, attainment and life chances.
These children and young people face multiple barriers in their day-to-day life, including trauma, marginalisation and disadvantage, low educational achievement and social stigma. With this Aspiring Social Worker/SEN LSA role based in Chichester, you will be an essential part of the pupils school life as with your consistency, you will provide them with invaluable help so they learn as much as they can, progress as far as they can and accomplish as much as they.
You will be instrumental in providing consistency, and equipping children and young people with tools to ensure they feel safe, secure, empowered, and believe that they can succeed in life.

- Able to commute to Chichester
September start, trial days taking place to ensure the role and school is right for you Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students £93-£105 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, term time only No previous experience is required If you have a Psychology / Criminology / Social Science degree, it's an excellent use of your degree You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship
