ASIC Design Support Engineer

Working for a global semiconductor company - a key player high-speed digital IP development; I have a new job available as ASIC Design Support Engineer.
You will be a key member of a support and automation function, working with R&D teams in IP development, across the company's global IP product portfolio.
Your product focus will cover IP security & cryptography, memory interfaces, and high-speed digital connections/protocols like PCIe and Serdes.
This is an internal facing role, working with multiple different R&D / IP development / product departments - which also requires an understanding of customer requirements.
The preferred location is in Netherlands, but you can also consider France or Bulgaria.
Salary is dependent on level and relevance of experience, circa €70-90k plus bonus package and stocks.
Visa sponsorship is available for relevantly qualified candiates/applicants.
Must have skills
- Degree / Masters in Electronics or similar field
- Circa 5+ years' experience in industry - detailed knowledge of ASIC / FPGA / HW IP development
- Excellent understanding of the digital design flow
- Understanding of design flow support / CAD / EDA / tooling functions
- Release / deivery management of hard / soft IPs
Strong ability in scripting and automation - python, perl, shel, C#, java or similar - THIS IS ESSENTIAL
- Understand of infrastructure, DevOps, CI / CD
- Strong skills and experience in documentation, process, configuration and compliance
- Previous experience working as a support engineer or applications engineer, or at least understanding of customer interactions / support / requirements
- VHDL, Verilog, system verilog
- Functional / system / software / IP verification
- Linting and synthesis
- Knowledge of multiple different IP development / delivery / release
