ASHP Heating Engineer - 2 Person Installation Crew

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) Heating Engineer to join a dedicated 2 person installation team, delivering high quality domestic retrofit installations. This role aligns with the growing demand for domestic air source heat pump installers, a skillset highlighted across UK job boards where ASHP experience, heating qualifications and domestic installation capability are consistently in demand.

You'll be responsible for installing Air Source Heat Pump systems in domestic properties, delivering funded retrofit installations at volume while ensuring quality, compliance and customer satisfaction, requirements frequently found across UK ASHP and renewable heating roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Install Air Source Heat Pump systems in domestic properties to a high technical standard
• Deliver retrofit heating installations efficiently as part of a 2 person engineer crew (a common UK working model for ASHP roles)
• Ensure full compliance with MCS standards, building regulations and funded scheme requirements
• Complete associated pipework, wiring and commissioning tasks
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring homeowners understand system operation
• Work professionally, safely and efficiently to meet installation targets and quality expectations

About You

• Proven experience installing ASHP systems in domestic properties
• Relevant heating and plumbing qualifications, such as:
  • NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing & Heating
  • G3 Unvented Hot Water certification
• Strong understanding of domestic heating systems and retrofit installation processes
• A team focused mindset, with experience working as part of a 2 engineer installation crew
• Ability to work safely, professionally and to high standards within customers' homes

Salary and Location

Salary: Up to £45,000 per engineer

Location: Field based - South Coast
