Asbestos Operative

Our client is a leading asbestos contractor based in Sittingbourne, is on the lookout for an experienced Asbestos Operative to join their growing team. They work across a wide portfolio of clients, including private residential and commercial sectors, as well as local authorities, schools, hospitals, and other civic buildings. .

The Role: You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all works are carried out on time, within budget, and in full compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee asbestos-related projects across the Medway and wider Kent area
• Conduct and manage asbestos surveys, removals and collections
• Ensure strict compliance with health and safety and asbestos legislation
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and safe project delivery

Requirements:

• Proven background in asbestos management, removal, and collection
• Sound understanding of asbestos survey procedures
• Excellent knowledge of legislation and health and safety compliance
• UK Driving Licence is essential
• Valid and relevant asbestos certificates required
• Ideally holds P402 or RSPH qualification
