Job Title: Asbestos Lab Analyst
Location: Edinburgh, Central Scotland
Salary / Benefits: 18,000 - 26,000 + Benefits + Training
Level of Experience: Asbestos Lab Analyst with progression towards P402.

Profile

Our client is an expanding and growing UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy, they are actively seeking for an organised and reliable Asbestos Lab Analyst to join them in the Edinburgh area. The ideal candidate will hold the P401 certificate and will be experienced in carrying out bulk analysis on asbestos samples. Applications will be considered from - Paisley, Glasgow, Falkirk, Stirling, Livingston, Kilmarnock, Greenock, East Kilbride, Cumbernauld, Hamilton, and Coatbridge.

Experience / Qualifications

• The successful Asbestos Lab Analyst will hold the P401 certificate.
• Previous experience working in a laboratory within the asbestos industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Package.

The Role

• Receiving and logging samples received by the laboratory.
• Preparing any samples for analysis.
• Completing analysis test sheets as and when required.
• Completing and uploads reports.
• Maintaining a good working relationship with clients.
• Checking reports.
• Getting involved in other lab duties as and when required.
