Job Overview

A nanny position in Edenbridge, Kent, requiring a sole charge, full time, live out role for an 10 month old girl. The role starts ASAP with a 40 hour week, flexible to hours, including overnight care and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide single charge care for the child, including feeding, nurturing, and activity planning.
• Plan educational and fun activities for development, including social groups, music/play groups, and home/garden activities.
• Cook meals for the child and maintain a clean kitchen and play areas.
• Oversee house chores such as keeping the kitchen and play areas tidy.
• Assist with travel, ensuring a valid passport, and manage pet interactions with two dogs and a cat.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of professional nanny experience working with children under 3.
• Enhanced DBS update, 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate, right to work in the UK required.
• Professional references: at least two, including previous employer.
• Childcare qualification preferred, but extensive experience may be a substitute.

Work Details

• Location: Edenbridge, Kent.
• Hours: 40 hours per week (flexible ), Monday-Friday with occasional weekends and overnight stays.
• Driving: Own car with business insurance.
• Pay: £41,600 Gross per annum (£20 per hour gross), commensurate with experience and qualifications.
