Art Teacher (Long-Term Sub)

Provide instruction and classroom support for K-2 students from now through at least the start of May (with the possibility of the end of the school year), ensuring continuity of learning, positive classroom management, and a smooth transition in the absence of the regular teacher.

• Bachelor's degree required
• Connecticut teaching certification in Art, PreK-12 (042) preferred
• Experience working with lower-elementary students preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to implement existing lesson plans and maintain a supportive learning environment

• Long-term substitute position beginning ASAP
• Daily rate of pay set by the Board of Education
