Art teacher
Posted 14 days 13 hours ago by Hays
Your new school
We are working with a fantastic school who are looking to recruit an art teacher to cover maternity leave on a part-time basis, 3 days per week from September 2025 through to July 2026 - seeing through the full academic year.
Your new role
You will be taking on the art timetable for KS3 and KS4 classes. Marking and preparation would also be required, in addition to attendance of relevant staff meetings and parents' evenings. This school has a very experienced art department, meaning this role would also be suitable for ECTs in addition to experienced qualified teachers.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need to hold QTS in the UK. Either an Art or Design Technology specialism is essential.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be joining a school that inspires its pupils and encourages them to be the best that they can be. You will also have the ability to take on extra supply days at the school on a flexible, adhoc basis covering 'general cover' should this be of interest.
