Shape the next generation of architects through teaching that blends theory, design thinking and real world practice. As an Architecture Lecturer, you'll deliver learner centred education within Ara's Built Environments portfolio, supporting ākonga to develop technical capability, professional identity and cultural intelligence. This role is ideal for an architecture professional who's passionate about teaching, mentoring, and creating inclusive learning environments that reflect Aotearoa's unique context and industry needs.
Qualifications- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in architecture or a closely related field
- Up to date knowledge of the architecture industry and how it works in practice
- Strong experience and understanding of what's taught in the programme
- Ability to explain key concepts clearly and show how they apply in real world settings
- Confidence using the tools and software commonly used in architectural practice
- Ability to support and motivate students to achieve their learning goals
- Clear and effective communicator who can work well with people from diverse background
