Job Title: Architectural Technologist

Location: Kenilworth

Salary: £35-39,000 DOE

An established, design-led architectural practice is actively seeking an Architectural Technologist to join its growing studio. The practice delivers a diverse portfolio of high-quality projects across the education, residential, healthcare, and commercial sectors, working on well-considered schemes from concept through to construction. With a strong focus on technical excellence, buildability, and clear design intent, the studio operates as a collaborative, office-based team of architects and technologists. The successful candidate will become part of a close-knit team, contributing to the detailed development and delivery of projects within a supportive and professional working environment.

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified and experienced Architectural Technologist
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Confident working knowledge of SketchUp
  • Excellent technical detailing and drawing skills
  • Good understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working within a collaborative, office-based team

Daily Duties

  • Producing detailed technical drawings and construction information using AutoCAD
  • Supporting the technical development of projects from detailed design through to construction
  • Creating and developing 3D models using SketchUp
  • Coordinating technical information with architects, consultants, and external consultants
  • Ensuring drawings and documentation comply with current building regulations and standards
  • Assisting with the smooth delivery of projects and responding to technical queries as required
