Architectural Assistant Grade I

The Office of Public Works (OPW) manages over 2,000 buildings spread over 1,700 properties throughout the country, along with some of the most recognisable properties in the country. The OPW is committed to providing a first-class service to its clients and to the many public users who experience the buildings and the environments that it creates. It promotes quality design in architecture through the delivery of projects on time, within budget, to the highest quality, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

OPW architectural staff provide design, project management, conservation, maintenance, procurement and advisory services for Government, State Agencies' and cultural institutions building and property needs. Successful candidates will apply technical principles in the development of a building to meet the project brief, the regulatory requirements for the building/site complex and the performance requirements for environmental and energy efficiency.

A panel will be formed from this competition to fill current and future vacancies that may arise for Architectural Assistant Grade I in OPW offices nationwide.
