Job Description
About the Role

Joining the Manchester School of Architecture as a Lecturer on our Master of Landscape Architecture programme, you will contribute to unit leadership, design studio teaching, and other areas of the curriculum (history and theory and/or landscape technologies). The role will also include planning unit delivery, liaising with colleagues from other courses and disciplines. You may also be required to provide support and mentoring to individual students.

Responsibilities
  • Unit leadership and design studio teaching.
  • Planning unit delivery and curriculum coordination.
  • Liaising with colleagues across courses and disciplines.
  • Supporting and mentoring students.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Teaching experience, preferably in practice.
  • Chartered membership of the Landscape Institute (or on the Pathway to Chartership) or international equivalent.
  • Evidence of research engagement or a PhD qualification.
  • Research interest in plant design, sustainability in landscape architecture, or creative design processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, organisational and administrative abilities, and a collaborative approach.
