Swansea Council's Parks Department (Tree Services Unit) is responsible for the planting and maintenance of trees and woodlands within the City & County of Swansea. Tree Services carry out a full range of arboricultural operations to ensure that the council's tree stock is safe and healthy for the residents and visitors to Swansea. We are currently seeking to recruit 2 Arborists to join our Tree Services Team.
The successful applicants will undertake a full range of interesting and challenging arboricultural work across the Council parks, highways, schools, cemeteries, woodlands, nature reserves, and council housing stock.
The successful applicants will join a professional team undertaking specialist tree care and woodland management using an extensive range of modern equipment and methods. These positions offer opportunity to develop skills and knowledge within a team committed to high standards in the safe management of trees.
All applicants must hold a full driving licence; preferably, with C1 + E entitlement

Contracted working hours are 37 per week Monday to Friday, and post holders must also be available to participate in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
