AR Analyst

AR Analystup to £40,000 South-end-on-Sea2 days a week in the officeWe are recruiting for a AR analyst to join a growing team within an Insurance Solutions business. This role will require you to have had previous experience in a regulated environment, either within an AR, Credit Control or as an Insurance Brokerage Technician. The purpose of this role will be handling reconciliations and collecting premiums from customers, including tasks such as premium reconciliation, monthly insurer statements, and preparing various reports for brands and insurers. Also responsible for providing management information (MI) to different stakeholders across the business.Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for calculating and issuing the monthly figures for the travel scheme
• Preparing monthly premium reconciliations for a large Retail brand
• Managing all IBA tasks related to the upcoming Insurance business
• Providing cover for the Senior IBA Technician during absences, particularly for month-end tasks
• Database management and data modelling
• Managing daily downloads from SagePay and Pay360
• Processing broker commissions
• Processing collection files
• Handling customer refunds
• Managing payments to brands and insurers
• Participating in internal project meetings
• Producing various internal and external reports
• Supporting month-end reporting processes
• Handling internal and external queries
• Assisting with other ad-hoc duties as required

Candidate specification:

• Experience within the Insurance Broker & Agents (IBA) industry
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong experience in database management, data modelling, and data warehouse tools/technologies
• Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving ability
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
