Your tasks

As APQP Manager, you ensure that our development projects follow a robust, quality planning process in alignment with AS/ENand internal H+S standards. You act as the voice of quality in multidisciplinary project teams, enabling flawless launches, reliable products, and satisfied customers. You guide teams in applying core quality tools, ensuring customer requirements are fully understood, implemented, and verified along the product lifecycle.

  • Ensure the application of APQP in projects, with a strong focus on aerospace requirements (AS/EN 9145) and in compliance with customer-specific requirements and internal H+S standards
  • Execute and oversee tasks related to APQP, PPAP, and FAIR processes including documentation
  • Lead and moderate FMEA activities (DFMEA & PFMEA)
  • Participate in product implementation decisions as part of a cross-functional team
  • Support space programs with product assurance tasks and document supervision
  • Use SAP, CIMdb, and data systems to ensure structured and traceable documentation
  • Manage requirement changes within projects and throughout the product lifecycle
  • Analyze quality performance, identify trends, and propose continuous improvement measures
  • Manage non-conformities in prototype and pre-launch phases
  • Collaborate with internal teams and global stakeholders
  • Perform internal audits and support external audits

Your profile

  • Technical background and minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within aerospace or defense environments
  • Knowledge of APQP and PPAP according to AS/EN 9145
  • Experience with ISO 9001, AS/EN
  • Experience in prototype production, PPAP/FAIR releases, and complaint handling
  • Strong command of core tools: 8D, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA
  • Familiarity with CAQ, PLM, ERP systems, MS Office
  • Ability to read technical drawings and documentation
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proactive, creative, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
