Full Job Description

BPS Facilities is looking for an Approved Electrician to join our busy Cardiff based Electrical Contracting Department.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified and experienced electrician in carrying out installation, testing and maintenance works, mainly within Domestic and Commercial Properties.

To be successful in the role, you will need:

To have served a full electrical apprenticeship or have appropriate technical qualifications.

BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations, specifically 18th Edition.

C&G 2391 Inspection, testing and certification or equivalent (Required),

Proven experience in providing quality workmanship.

Hold a JIB/ECS card is desirable but not essential,

Full driving licence,

The successful candidate must be able to carry out:

Electrical maintenance as part of on-going PPM's.

Project refurbishments, containment, power lighting and data.

Single and TP&N distribution board upgrades.

EICR reports and rectification works.

LED lighting upgrades and controls.

Emergency light testing and rectification works.

Working hours 08:00 - 16:30 - 40 hour week

Saturday and Sunday works paid at time and a half

Hourly rate to be discussed depending on experience

Paid weekly

Pay: £18.00-£19.32 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
