Apprenticeships and Widening Participation Coordinator

The Apprenticeships and Widening Participation Coordinator supports the Apprenticeships and Widening Participation Leader to increase the knowledge and understanding of apprenticeships and widening participation in the Trust. Supporting workforce development and quality programmes effectively using the apprenticeship levy.
Working with all service managers and Trust employees to facilitate opportunities to undertake a wide range of professional and academic apprenticeship programmes in support of role development and career progression for employees working at all levels across the Trust.
Main duties of the jobBuilding networks and positive relationships with training providers, and other external stakeholders to ensure quality, effective and efficient programme provision. Share best practice for the provision of viable and consistent opportunities to access apprenticeship programmes and widening participation opportunities across the Trust. This includes upskilling through functional skills and ensuring that new and existing employees are given the opportunity to be developed through apprenticeship programmes and widening participation opportunities. Carry out any relevant administrative tasks which contribute towards delivering the Trust's Education & Workforce strategies as well as those relating to Divisional Business Work plans and policies

Person Specification Qualifications- Minimum requirement 3 A levels required for entry to degree level qualification / apprenticeship including maths and English GCSE grade 4/C /functional skills level 2
- Level 3 Business Administration or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Advanced excel qualification or equivalent
- IT qualification or equivalent supporting data analysis
- Word Processing Qualification
- Educated to degree Level 6 Apprenticeship ; including Maths and English functional skills as required or willingness to work towards
- Educated to Diploma level 5 or Degree level 6 or equivalent subject level qualification or significant experience at a similar role in specialist area
- Previous experience of using all Microsoft Office software packages
- High level skill using Excel - data management; manipulating/ presenting data for reports. Quality assurance processes to ensure accurate data is produced
- Marketing and project management experience
- Excellent working knowledge of social media
- Proven ability to contribute to team working and to develop good working relationships with junior and senior team members
- Able to work autonomously with proven experience
- Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills
- Experience of handling confidential and sensitive material and information
- Previous experience of working in an administration role
- Current knowledge and / or experience of working with the apprenticeship agenda
- Experience of working in an administration role as part of a team
- Demonstrate ability to manage projects
- Ability to create Excel spreadsheets/graphs/ pivot tables
