Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Complete a structured four year training program in conjunction with SOLAS and WWETB (formerly FAS), dependent on results and performance.
• Participate in block releases to SOLAS and WWETB for specific training in the applicable trade (Electrical). Work with Maintenance Technicians at B+L to apply skills learned and prepare for the next block release.
• Base location in the Maintenance Department, with occasional support of other departments to broaden trade knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with all EHS regulatory conditions and corporate B+L guidelines, standards, policies, and operating procedures.

Key cGMP Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures at all times.
• Follow required applicable regulatory standards as required.
• Participate fully in all GMP and operational training programs and complete all training records accurately and timely.
• Follow gowning procedures and entry rules for all manufacturing and controlled areas.
• Understand and follow Personal Hygiene Rules as defined in the GMP Training Programme and notify area supervision of any health conditions that may affect product quality.
• Maintain work areas clean and tidy at all times.

Requirements

• Leaving Certificate with minimum pass in Ordinary Maths. Leaving Certificate in Engineering or Technical Drawing is advantageous.
• Decisive, self motivated, and capable of working on your own initiative.
• High level of commitment to training and development.
• Ability to work as a team member.
