Tufcot produce a range of low-friction, high-strength composite engineering materials that are manufactured at our site in Sheffield using synthetic fibres, thermosetting resins and lubricating additives.

The Tufcot range offers the design engineer an attractive alternative to traditional bearing materials and is used for bearings and wear pads across a wide range of markets including marine, offshore, hydropower, materials handling, hydraulics and transport. High-load capacity combined with the minimal swell and inherently low friction makes Tufcot materials ideal for replacing oil or grease-lubricated bearings and pads with greener dry-running or water-lubricated components. At Tufcot we continually work to improve our manufacturing and machining facilities, develop our material range, and expand our technical knowledge.
