About the vacancy

Immediate start. We are a small and friendly run practice and would like to welcome an apprentice on board to work as part of a team at our dental practice in Blackley. This is an exciting opportunity for a trainee dental nurse to complete the L3 dental qualification.

This is an exciting role for an enthusiastic and able individual to train as a dental nurse. You will be completing a wide range of duties involved with assisting the dentist in the care of customers. These will include:

• Chairside assistance - passing instruments to the dentist
• Updating patient records as instructed by the dentist
• Setting up and preparing the surgery
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control
• Following all workplace policies and procedures
• You will also be required to perform a Receptionist service to customers, booking appointments and welcoming patients

This is a work-based qualification with weekly (Wednesday) timetabled classes.

• Essential : English (GCSE - C/4 or above or equivalent)

Outcome

Subject to a successful apprenticeship, you may be offered employment by the dental practice on a permanent basis.

The starting salary is £12,168 a year for 29.25 hours Monday: 8.45am -5.30pm.Tuesday: 8.45am-5.30pm.Wednesday: College.Thursday: 8.45am-5.30pm..

The apprenticeship will run for 1 Year 9 Months.
