Applications Engineering Manager (Specialist Commercial Vehicles)

Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a well-established supplier of truck mounted cranes and other equipment looking to on board a new Applications Engineering Manager within their Manchester office, to lead the Applications Engineering team. • Developing application engineering tasks and resources across the UK
• Providing technical support to internal sales teams, customers, product managers and product specialists
• Working with R&D engineering teams to promote continuous product improvement and yearly model upgrades
• Defining and executing training for trainers, product managers and customers
• Coaching operational staff to maximize output of specific products

The company prefer an individual with experience within the Specialist Commercial Vehicles industry. However, this isn't essential, they would also be interested in speaking with candidates with a background in commercial vehicles or automotive. In terms of location, you will ideally be based within commutable distance Manchester.
