Application Operations Engineer

Application Support - CAFM/IWMS - Planon - 4 months - London Hybrid (3 days onsite) - SC Cleared

I am currently recruiting for an Application Support Engineer with experience of Planon or other CAFM/IWMS platforms, to join a public sector client based in London.

Given the urgency of the position and the client's requirements, candidates who already hold active SC clearance would be preferred.

You will be involved in the effective day-to-day operation of their estates management information systems. Responsibilities will include supporting Planon users, coordinating with third-party service providers, testing new system features, producing supporting documentation, developing and delivering training resources, managing system upgrades and releases, and ensuring appropriate system security and reporting.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

• Managing user accounts and access permissions
• Prioritising and triaging change requests
• Delivering 1:1 user support and guidance
• Creating clear documentation to support testing, training, and system release activities
• Contributing to the development of new reporting tools and dashboards

I am keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Proven experience in a similar support role, preferably within the facilities management sector in a public sector environment
• In-depth knowledge of Planon or similar CAFM/IWMS solutions
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in a clear and user-friendly manner
• Proven experience in collaborating with third-party suppliers
• Create and maintain documentation, including training and user guides.
