The Ministry of Schools, Family and Vocational Training (BSFB) employs around 28,000 people to provide state school education for Hamburg's schoolchildren. Our Digitalization, IT and Transformation (VD) department consists of over 100 dedicated colleagues. We come from a wide range of professional backgrounds. In this context, we work closely with all departments of the BSFB, almost 400 schools as well as other (specialist) authorities and non-school stakeholders.

Your tasksApplication Manager (m/f/d) for the central student register:
- Requirements and test management using the DevOps server: coordinating requirements for IT, advising specialist departments on the digitalization of tasks and processes, developing creative and pragmatic solutions, participating in agile IT projects as required
- Release management (planning of functional and technical changes): Management of implementation by external service providers.
- Specification of the interfaces to the connected specialist processes
- Coordination with the official data protection officer and the staff council
- Second-level support and control and planning of the further development and adaptation of the Central Student Register

Your profile Required- University degree (Master's or equivalent) in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field of study
- Comprehensive understanding of current IT technologies and their possible applications
- sound knowledge of requirements management and business process analysis and optimization
- Experience in the use of moderation tools for designing interviews and workshops
- Knowledge of the SQL server (especially SQL knowledge)
- Experience in project work, especially with agile/hybrid process methods (Scrum)
- One position, permanent, to be filled as soon as possible
- Payment according to pay group 13 TV-L (pay scale), further information on karriere.hamburg
- Work in an open-minded and motivated team
- 30 days vacation per year
