Job Description

Job Title: Appian Lead
Location: London (Hybrid)
Job Type: Permanent or Contract
Start Date: Within 1 month

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Appian Lead to join our team in London. This role involves leading the design and development of Appian applications and supporting a team of developers. You'll work closely with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of Appian applications including process models, interfaces, and integrations

  • Guide and support junior Appian developers

  • Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements

  • Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed

  • Support testing, deployment, and performance tuning

  • Troubleshoot issues and suggest improvements

  • Maintain technical documentation

  • Run workshops and break down requirements into development tasks

Skills Required:

  • Strong hands-on experience with the Appian platform

  • Good knowledge of process modelling, SAIL, and system integrations

  • Experience with SQL and relational databases

  • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall development methods

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Experience in mentoring and team leadership
