AppDynamics Engineer

We're looking for an experienced AppDynamics Engineer to join a major programme within the EUC space. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex projects, with a competitive day rate and long-term potential.

The Details

• Rate: £670/day (Inside IR35 - PAYE via Umbrella)

• Clearance: SC Eligible (additional vetting required, which can extend onboarding timelines)

• Location: London (75% Remote, 25% Office)

• Interview Process: Technical Interview

What you'll be doing

• Implementing and configuring AppDynamics solutions

• Supporting AppDynamics queries, RCA, and issues throughout delivery

• Building and deploying into Kubernetes environments (including EKS clusters with helm/manifests)

• Creating health rules, alerting, dashboards, and API integrations

• Developing and deploying custom AppDynamics extensions and database agents

• Building custom Docker images for AppDynamics agents

• Writing Shell Scripts and custom SQL queries

• Integrating AppDynamics across environments, with potential SNMP and network device work

What we're looking for

• Strong AppDynamics experience with proven delivery across enterprise projects

• Broad knowledge of APM tools

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Java, Python, Shell, SQL, ADQL, AWS

• Excellent communication skills and ability to document, update, and review technical processes

Desirable Certifications

• AppDynamics Associate Administrator

• AppDynamics Associate Performance Analyst

• AppDynamics Implementation Professional

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

• Dynatrace Associate Certification
