Job Description

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Design and build Anaplan models to meet business requirements and improve planning processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and ensure model alignment with business needs.
  • Create and maintain data inputs, outputs, calculations, and business process mappings.
  • Configure and manage Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, and actions to enhance model functionality.
  • Test and implement new ideas and functionalities to improve existing Anaplan models.
  • Provide guidance and train users on how to maximize Anaplan capabilities.
  • Monitor and ensure that users adopt the new planning tools, minimizing reliance on legacy systems.
  • Stay up to date with the latest product releases on Anaplan, ensuring best practices are followed.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience with building and maintaining financial, headcount, or operational planning models, ideally using Anaplan.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design, implement, and enhance complex planning models.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, with a solid understanding of financial planning processes.
  • Proficiency in using planning tools such as PowerBI, VBA, Tableau, Alteryx, or SQL is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
