Job Description- Develop and implement strategies to engage with regulatory bodies and key industry stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyse regulatory changes within the energy & natural resources sector, providing actionable insights to internal teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise reports and presentations on policy developments and their potential impact.
- Represent the organisation in industry forums, consultations, and stakeholder meetings.
- Advocate for the organisation's interests by building relationships with policymakers and regulators.
- Provide expert advice on regulatory risks and opportunities to support business objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the UK's regulatory landscape and emerging trends.
A successful UK Regulatory Engagement and Advocacy Specialist should have:
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and policies within the energy & natural resources sector.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and advocacy roles.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to identifying and addressing regulatory challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
- A relevant degree in a related field, such as public policy, law, or energy studies.
- Competitive salary in the range of £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.
