Ambulance Liaison Officer

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and flexible individual to the role of Ambulance Liaison Officer based within the Cumbria and Lancs area of NWAS.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be required to attend Acute Trusts across the area as required; this role involves the efficient management of the handover process from ambulance resources to Acute Trust. The post holder should ideally have supervisory experience and possess good communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions within the Acute Trust setting.
Person Specification Qualifications- IHCD Qualified Paramedic
- Thorough and practical understanding of Service policies and procedures, especially divert/deflection guidance.
- Ability to influence and negotiate with others
- Effective interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and listening
- Ability to motivate and lead others
- Time management, decision making and organizational skills
- Valid EU Driving Licence with C1 category (No more than 3 endorsement points; exceptional circumstances allow up to 6 points)
- IT skills
- Self motivated
- Ability to project a professional image
- Commitment to Continuous Professional Development
- Flexibility of working hours and location
