Job Overview

We have a wonderful position for an ASAP start, temporary live in nanny role for a lovely family in Southampton, Hampshire and Uckfield, East Sussex. The role is from May to July, with the possibility of extension if the nanny travels within Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care for a 7 month old infant and a 3 year old child, with primary focus on the baby.
• Support the mother by traveling with her and the baby, keeping the child engaged with walks, interactive play, meals and naps.
• Maintain a clean and tidy area for the infant while on duty.
• Adapt to flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings and daytime shifts as required by the mother.
• Provide nursery duties and household assistance as needed, while living with the family in a private room.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience caring for children under 1 year.
• Enhanced DBS and 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate required before application.
• Child care qualification preferred; extensive experience may substitute for certification.
• Ability to drive and travel between Southampton and Uckfield.
• Must be willing to live in with the family.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate the mother's work commitments.

Employment Details

Start date: ASAP. End date: mid July, to be confirmed. Pay: £20 per hour gross. Temporary position.
