Working Pattern

Days 4 on 2 off 2 early / 2 late

We are recruiting an Allocator to coordinate and assign daily tasks, teams and resources to support efficient operational delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time, supporting a smooth, well-organised service in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate staff to flights, tasks and operational areas based on skills, availability and workload.
  • Monitor real-time requirements and adjust deployments to meet changing operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of team deployment, shift changes and task completion.
  • Communicate clearly with Duty Managers, Supervisors and operational teams throughout each shift.
  • Use scheduling tools, radios or allocation systems to manage workflow efficiently.
  • Support escalations, delays or operational disruptions by reallocating resources quickly.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, working time rules and site protocols.
  • Report staffing gaps, attendance issues or operational risks promptly.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in aviation, scheduling, rostering, control rooms or fast-paced operations (advantageous).
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence making quick, informed decisions.
  • Reliable, proactive and highly attentive to detail.
  • Comfortable using radios, IT systems or scheduling tools (training provided).
  • Right to Work in the UK.
